What is EFT?
Changing habits and behaviour patterns requires learning new coping skills to deal with stress in healthy, positive ways. It also requires understanding what your triggers are, how to effectively manage the urge and also the underlying subconscious messaging.
EFT (also known as Tapping) is a form of energy psychology based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It involves tapping on acupressure points on meridians in the body while focusing on a particular emotion. Whilst tuning into the emotion, feeling or thought - calming signals are sent to the amygdala (the stress centre in the brain).
This then works with the body's nervous system to restore balance and activates the parasympathetic nervous system.
It's a little like acupuncture but without the needles!
It's a pain-free process and an effective method for behavioural desensitisation. It can help clear past reactions to traumatic events, relieve stress and cravings, and release negative emotions.

Our tapping session will begin with a short grounding meditation before working on the issues so you can achieve your goals.
